هكذا يعمل الماسح في Paperota، خطوة بخطوة. يعمل على هاتفك، ولا تُرسل الصورة إلى أي مكان لذلك.This is how the Paperota scanner works, step by step. It runs on your phone, and the picture isn’t sent anywhere to do this.

خطوات الماسحThe scanner’s steps

  1. يجد الورقة ويصوّرها وحدهIt finds the paper and takes the picture by itself

    ضع الورقة أمام الكاميرا. يظهر إطار حولها ويتبعها وهي تتحرك. وحين يثبت الهاتف يصوّر وحده، ويختار أوضح لقطة. ويمكنك إيقاف ذلك والتصوير بنفسك.Hold the paper in front of the camera. An outline appears around it and follows it as it moves. When the phone is still it takes the picture by itself and picks the sharpest shot. You can turn this off and shoot yourself.

  2. يعدّل الميل والزاويةIt fixes the slant and the angle

    صوّرتها مائلة؟ تصبح الورقة مستطيلًا مستقيمًا، كأنك صوّرتها من فوقها تمامًا. وإذا كانت مقلوبة أو على جنبها، يديرها لتكون قائمة.Took it at an angle? The paper becomes a straight rectangle, as if you shot it from right above. If it’s upside down or on its side, it turns it upright.

  3. ينظّف الصورةIt cleans the picture

    يوحّد الإضاءة ويوضّح الحروف، ويخفف لمعان الضوء على البطاقة، دون أن يغيّر ما كُتب فيها.It evens out the light, sharpens the letters and reduces glare on a card, without changing what’s written on it.

  4. يقرأ النص على هاتفكIt reads the text on your phone

    يقرأ العربية والإنجليزية في الورقة نفسها، ويعرف نوع الورقة وتاريخ انتهائها. وفي شاشة النص، يعلّم الكلمات غير الواضحة لتراجعها.It reads Arabic and English on the same paper, and works out the paper’s type and expiry date. On the text screen, it marks unclear words for you to check.

  5. تراجع أنت، ثم نذكّركYou check it. Then we remind you

    القراءة الآلية قد تخطئ، فلا يُحفظ شيء قبل أن تراه وتصحّحه إن لزم. بعد الحفظ يصلك التذكير قبل الانتهاء، بالبريد وفي تقويمك بعد ربطه مرة واحدة.Automatic reading can make mistakes, so nothing is saved until you’ve seen it and fixed it if needed. After saving, the reminder comes before the paper expires, by email and in your calendar once you connect it.

أوراق يعرف أنواعها.The papers it recognizes.

الجواز من أي بلد، لأنه يقرأ السطرين الآليين في أسفله. أما البطاقات فتختلف من بلد إلى آخر، وقد يفوته بعضها. فإذا لم يقرأ التاريخ، تكتبه أنت في ثوانٍ.Passports from any country, because it reads the two machine lines at the bottom. Cards differ from country to country and it may miss some. If it doesn’t read the date, you type it in seconds.

إذا كانت الصورة غير واضحةIf the picture is blurry

ينبّهك لتعيد التصوير قبل الحفظ.It tells you, so you can scan again before saving.

لا نكتب نسبة دقة هنا، لأننا لم نقِسها بعد على عدد كافٍ من الأوراق الحقيقية. وسنضيفها بعد القياس.We don’t print an accuracy figure here, because we haven’t yet measured it on enough real papers. We’ll add it once we have.

على هاتفكOn your phone

إيجاد الحواف، والتعديل، والتنظيف، وقراءة النص. في أول مرة يحمّل الهاتف ملفات الماسح من موقعنا، فيحتاج إلى إنترنت جيد.Finding the edges, straightening, cleaning and reading the text. The first time, the phone downloads the scanner’s files from our site, so it needs a good connection.

عندما تحفظWhen you save

تصل الورقة إلى حسابك وتُحفظ مشفّرة مع نصها، لتجدها من أي جهاز وتبحث فيها.The paper reaches your account and is stored encrypted with its text, so you can find it on any device and search it.

على الكمبيوترOn a computer

الكاميرا تعمل على الهاتف. يظهر لك رمز QR، فتصوّره بهاتفك وتكمل عليه، ثم تجد الصور في حسابك على الكمبيوتر.The camera works on the phone. A QR code appears: scan it with your phone and carry on there, then find the pictures in your account on the computer.

إذا اخترت القراءة بالذكاء الاصطناعيIf you choose AI reading

هذه وحدها تُرسل الملف الذي تختاره ليقرأه وكيل الذكاء الاصطناعي، وهي متوقفة في البداية.This alone sends the file you choose, for the AI agent to read. It is off to begin with.
